Dorothy studied art at St. Martins, London and begun her career as a Graphic Designer. She has always been fascinated by pattern and curves, as well as the dynamics of the body in motion. She aims to present abstracted human forms in the most aesthetically pleasing and harmonious way. She tries to create a balance between movement and stillness, playing with the lines and negative spaces as well as the shape and form of the body itself. She loves to capture the essence of a vibrant dance or the split second before a twist or turn.

Dorothy is passionate about dance, theatre and music, which trigger the ideas for her sculptures. These influences are integral to her work, both in the two and three dimensional form.
