Carol Saunderson
Carol Saunderson studied at Cambridge College of Art and Loughborough University. Her work includes figure paintings in oils and abstract landscapes in mixed media. Her work has been exhibited at a number of galleries around the country. She frequently undertakes private commissions, many of which are portraits.
Carol is inspired by her love of literature and landscape and by her interest in a wide range of artists from Giotto, Dufy and Rothko to Tai-Shan Schierenberg, Chuck Close and Barbara Rae. The works reflect her fascination with colour and its interaction.
